Living in a cell
They built up walls of glass
So I can see the world but yet
I cannot interact.
My hands upon the walls
Fingerprints stain the glass
So the world can see but yet
They will not interact.
My lungs release warmth
Fogging up the glass
I draw a smile and wait a while
But no one interacts.
I stand alone
My gaze set past these walls of glass
This heart of mine says to me
The glass will break and on that day
Someone will interact.
